Chevrolet engineers have returned to the Nürburgring in Germany with high-performance Corvettes for testing, including Z06, ZR1, and ZORA models.
The group is driving painted production (or production-ready) cars instead of camouflaged prototypes, and timed hot laps are planned.
Six Corvettes are being tested, including Z06s in Accelerate Yellow and Black, ZR1 Coupes in Black and Red, and ZORA cars in Purple and Competition Yellow.
The Z06s and ZR1s appear to be production models, and there is anticipation for fast lap times to challenge record runs.
Corvette Executive Chief Engineer Tony Roma hinted at continued testing at the Nürburgring during the NCM Bash in April.
The GM team will spend three weeks in Germany, with plans for at least two record runs on the 12.9-mile track after training and other races.
Chevy brought ZORA models with hybrid powertrains to the Nürburgring for testing, indicating possible future options or models.
Rumors suggest the ZORA could be an option on the ZR1 model, potentially to be introduced on 2026 models.
More photos and a video from the testing event are expected to be shared, offering enthusiasts a closer look at the Corvettes in action.
