Square Enix has cancelled Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, a GPS-based action RPG for mobile devices.
The game was initially planned to launch in 2024 but was delayed and eventually cancelled due to concerns about offering a satisfactory long-term service for players.
Despite the cancellation, Square Enix reassured fans that they are dedicated to the ongoing development of Kingdom Hearts 4, which will introduce the new Lost Master Arc narrative.
The fate of Missing-Link's narrative integration into the main Kingdom Hearts series remains ambiguous given the complex and extensive lore of the franchise.
