Starlink has received final regulatory approval to begin commercial services in India from IN-SPACe, marking the last step before the roll-out.
Starlink is expected to launch its services in India later this year or early next year after completing necessary steps like spectrum allocation and compliance trials.
Starlink will offer unlimited data plans in India at promotional prices of under $10 per month. Internet speeds are expected to range from 25 Mbps to 220 Mbps.
While hardware pricing in India is yet to be disclosed, in the US, the standard Starlink kit costs $349 and the compact Starlink Mini is priced at $599.
