Stellantis has announced it will not proceed with plans to lay off about 1,100 employees at its Ohio Jeep plant.The decision comes after the resignation of CEO Carlos Tavares and follows disagreements with board members.Instead of layoffs, Stellantis will extend the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice.Stellantis has been focusing on cost-cutting and efficiency amid slipping sales in North America.
