US stock market indices opened in green on Tuesday, as the sentiment remained positive at the Wall Street for the shortened Christmas Eve trading.
Brent crude was trading 1.43% higher at $73.67 a barrel as of 11:56 a.m. EST. Gold spot rose 0.13% to $2,615.86 an ounce.
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 25.80 points or 0.11% down at 23,727.65 and the BSE Sensex settled 67.30 points or 0.1% lower at 78,472.87.
