Architecture studio 2m26 shapes a wooden sheep house in Kyoto, Japan using rice straws and sewn bamboo nets.
The project, named Hitsujigoya, incorporates traditional roofing techniques with layers of rice straws attached to bamboo nets using ropes made of rice straws.
The wooden sheep house is also covered with layers of cedar leaves, cedar bark, planted soil, and iris flowers to aid in soil stabilization.
The main structure is made of natural cypress logs, while the base is made of stone, and the large doors are crafted by Hiroshima blacksmiths.
