Gothenburg-based ClimateTech company Plagazi secures a €29.5 million EU grant for the Gävle Circular Park project aimed at transforming waste into hydrogen.
The project involves converting non-recyclable waste into clean energy using advanced thermochemical recycling and plasma gasification technology.
Plagazi's pilot plant in Gävle targets processing 22,000 tons of waste yearly to produce 4,000 tons of sustainable hydrogen by 2028.
The initiative aligns with EU's emissions reduction goals, achieves significant greenhouse gas avoidance, creates local jobs, and promotes sustainable technology clusters.
