Food delivery app Swiggy has limited password sharing for its premium membership, Swiggy One, to two devices.
The change in policy aims to prevent misuse of the service and maintain fairness for customers.
The company has informed subscribers via email and the update will be effective starting Wednesday.
The move by Swiggy follows similar actions by Netflix to restrict password sharing, and comes after the company laid off 380 employees and shut down its meat marketplace in an effort to conserve cash and achieve profitability.
