Tahawwur Hussain Rana, a key accused in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, has been extradited to India from the United States.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) stated that the extradition was the result of years of sustained efforts and coordination with US authorities and Indian intelligence agencies.
The NIA worked closely with the US Department of Justice, US Sky Marshal, Indian intelligence agencies, and the National Security Guard (NSG) for the successful extradition.
Tahawwur Rana's extradition is a significant development in the pursuit of justice for the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
