Taiwan's Delta Electronics plans to nearly double its workforce in India by 2029, adding 3,000 employees to bring its total to 6,500.
The expansion aligns with its strategy to boost R&D capabilities, following the opening of its largest R&D center in Bengaluru. The company, a global leader in power and thermal management, is investing $500 million in India, a plan delayed by the pandemic.
Delta will also relocate its local headquarters from Gurgaon to Bengaluru, leveraging the city's tech ecosystem. Delta Electronics operates three R&D centers in India and continues to expand its global footprint.
