Transport minister Anthony Loke has given a 30-day deadline to the task force investigating the fatal crash that killed nine FRU personnel in Teluk Intan, Perak.
The task force includes various experts and is chaired by the ministry's chief air accident inspector; it aims to identify systemic weaknesses in road safety measures.
The investigation seeks to determine the root cause of the incident and proposes improvement measures without assigning blame.
The task force will submit a preliminary report to the ministry for review, focusing on enhancing safety for road users, especially in heavy vehicle scenarios.
