Tesla board denied a Wall Street Journal report claiming they were looking for a new CEO to replace Elon Musk.
The report stated that the board had started searching for a successor about a month ago, but this was refuted by Tesla's board chair, Robyn Denholm, on Musk's social platform X.
Denholm asserted that the board has confidence in Musk's leadership and denied initiating a CEO search.
Elon Musk accused the Wall Street Journal of breaching ethics and claimed they had received a denial from him beforehand. Despite the confidence in Musk, Denholm sold over $32 million worth of Tesla shares recently.
