The decision on whether Tesla CEO Elon Musk will receive his $56 billion pay package will be made before the end of the year.
Delaware Court of Chancery Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick will decide on the matter, following her ruling in January that the pay package was unfair to Tesla shareholders.
Shareholders had already voted in favor of giving Musk the pay package, and McCormick will have the Final say on whether it will be awarded to Musk.
Musk's attorneys are also requesting the court to vacate the decision and consider $1 billion in legal fees in either cash or stock.
