Tesla demonstrated its Full Self Driving (FSD) driving assistance suite in a right-hand-drive vehicle via a video shared on the Tesla AI X/Twitter channel.
The video showed a person supervising the FSD system as it navigated traffic, steered out of a parking space, changed lanes, performed a hook turn, stopped for pedestrians, and ended at a shopping center.
FSD is listed as available for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y in Malaysia, but its use is not currently permitted in the country.
Tesla announced that FSD would be released in right-hand-drive markets in late first quarter or early second quarter of the year, following its release in Europe and China in Q1.
