Tesla's sales in Europe have dropped by 42% this year, selling just under 27,000 vehicles compared to over 46,000 last year.
The decline in sales comes amid protests, boycott calls, and instances of vandalism due to Elon Musk's involvement in DOGE and political interventions.
Tesla's sales decline is in contrast to the overall rise in EV sales, which increased by 28.4% in Europe in the first two months of the year.
Chinese EV giant BYD surpassed Tesla in revenue for the first time, reporting 777 billion yuan compared to Tesla's $97.7 billion.
