The Tesla Model 3 has been named the 'most economical electric vehicle to own' in a new study conducted by research firm Zutobi.
The study evaluated the cost to drive 100 miles and found that the Rear-Wheel Drive Tesla Model 3 is the most cost-effective EV, costing just $3.60 for that distance.
The Tesla Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive ranked second, with a cost of $3.75 to drive 100 miles.
Other Teslas, including the Model 3 Performance, Model S Long Range, and Model Y Long Range, also made the list of cost-effective EVs.
