Tesla has updated the naming of its smart driving system offerings in China, dropping the "FSD" terminology from its vehicle order pages.
The RMB 64,000 package is now labeled as "Intelligent Assisted Driving", the RMB 32,000 mid-tier system is labeled as "Enhanced Assisted Driving", and the basic Autopilot system is labeled as "Basic Assisted Driving".
Despite the name changes, the functions of the systems remain unchanged.
The renaming could suggest a cautious approach towards the release of an autonomous driving system in China, with the possibility of reintroducing "Full Self-Driving" terminology once unsupervised FSD is released.
