Texas Instruments India has concluded the fourth edition of its Women in Semiconductors and Hardware (WiSH) programme, aimed at second-year female engineering students across India.
Over 1,500 students registered for the programme, with 190 selected participants gaining exposure to core engineering, particularly in semiconductor and hardware sectors.
The month-long programme included virtual mentoring, technical sessions, and onsite activities at TI's Bengaluru campus, providing real-world exposure and one-on-one mentoring by experts.
TI's efforts through WiSH aim to increase gender diversity in semiconductor roles by investing in early-stage talent to build a more inclusive semiconductor ecosystem in India.
