Cadillac has introduced the electric 2025 ESCALADE IQ with an impressive 460-mile range, surpassing other EV SUVs in terms of distance traveled on a single charge.
The ESCALADE IQ is part of Cadillac's shift towards EVs with a lineup including models like IQ OPTIQ, LYRIQ, VISTIQ, and CELESTIQ, signaling a strategic move towards environmentally friendly vehicles.
The ESCALADE IQ offers four trims, can recharge 100 miles in 10 minutes at public DC fast charging stations, and boasts a powerful 750-horsepower, 785 lb.-ft. of torque two-motor, 800v powertrain.
Test drives in San Francisco revealed the ESCALADE IQ's agility and performance, thanks to features like 4-Wheel Steer, Cadillac Arrival Mode, and Low Ride Mode for different driving situations.
The ESCALADE IQ is built on GM's Ultium Platform, enabling over 200 kWh of energy storage, V2H bidirectional charging, and One-Pedal Driving for enhanced efficiency and sustainability.
Design-wise, the ESCALADE IQ features an aerodynamic silhouette, panoramic glass roof, innovative lighting, and tech-forward interior with a 55” display, Executive Second Row package, and AKG Studio Reference audio system.
The starting MSRP for the ESCALADE IQ is $129,990, but the price can go up to $160,000 for additional luxurious features, targeting a global market.
