<ul><li>Path of Exile 2 has six classes, every class has a distinctive playstyle whose drawbacks might not be a dealbreaker according to game style. There is not a single powerhouse class that lets you sweep through unlike in Diablo 4. At launch, the Mercenary is the best class with exceptional combos, high damage potential and flexible playstyle. Witch is the second-best class, specifically for its kit which includes minion summoner, powerful spellcaster and debuffer. Ranger is the best class for crowd control, with a variety of skills and is the best for causing status ailments. Monk is a fun class to play but it takes ten hours to get started. Warrior is an excellent defensive class but is weak and sluggish. Sorceress is fine in the game, with access to three major elements but lacks defensive skills.</li></ul>
