Google has released the first beta for Android 16 QPR 1, a preview for the next Pixel Drop release, expected in June.
The beta includes new design features from Material 3 Expressive and is a quarterly Android release after stable Android 16.
The release is available for download as a Generic System Image (GSI) and is accessible to Pixel users enrolled in the Android beta program.
This update follows Google's recent announcements during I/O 2025 event and showcases the company's commitment to enhancing the Android user experience.
