Following the Challenge-Based Learning framework, a team tackled the task of improving a manual collab space booking system.Initially skipping steps, they explored Apple Frameworks and realized the need to understand the deeper problem.Discovering the manual booking system's inefficiencies, they refined their challenge statement.Realizing the importance of understanding user habits, they envisioned CoBo, a digital booking solution.CoBo aimed to simplify booking processes and ensure timely check-ins through QR codes.The team transitioned to prototyping, focusing on a streamlined user experience with input from mentors.Insights from a design mentor led to simplifying the booking and check-in flows, enhancing user experience.Embracing good copywriting and physical testing, they reduced steps, leading to a more efficient design.Coding efforts involved implementing MVC architecture, CoreImage for QR codes, and SwiftData for data storage.The journey underscored the importance of understanding user needs and behaviors for impactful product development.
