The Hummer EV is introducing a new King Crab rear steering feature for improved maneuverability, allowing the vehicle to navigate tight spaces more easily.
Existing owners will receive this feature through an over-the-air software update, while the 2026 model will come with it as a standard feature for both pickup and SUV versions.
In addition to the King Crab feature, GMC is also releasing a limited carbon fiber edition of the Hummer EV with improved performance, including a new 24-module battery that enables faster acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds.
Other updates for the 2026 Hummer EV include bidirectional charging capabilities and enhanced Super Cruise for automated lane changing when using the vehicle's built-in map.
