Toyota has introduced the new RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid, offering a total range of over 839 miles with a full tank of gas and a fully charged battery.
The plug-in hybrid model boasts an increase in all-electric range compared to the previous model, with a target of 93 miles in Japan and an expected EPA-rated figure of 50 miles in North America.
The RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid features a larger battery pack capacity of 22.7 kWh, coupled with a more aerodynamic design to optimize efficiency and range.
Toyota has enhanced the new RAV4 PHEV with an increase in combined output, towing capacity, and DC charging support, while discontinuing the availability of diesel engines and gas-only setups.
