Apple's next-generation iPhone SE is expected to feature the company's first in-house built 5G modem. The new modem, called 'Sinope', will not support mmWave technology and will offer four-carrier aggregation compared to Qualcomm's six.The focus of Apple's modem will be on Sub-6 5G, the more common standard already supported on the current iPhone SE.Future modems, such as 'Ganymede' and 'Prometheus', are expected to match and surpass Qualcomm's capabilities.
