The Switch 2 Pro Controller, part of the more premium Switch 2 console, is challenging to repair according to an iFixit teardown.
To repair the controller, one needs to disassemble it completely, including removing an adhesive-secured faceplate and unscrewing multiple layers of plastic.
Similar to the original Switch Pro Controller, the Switch 2 Pro Controller's design makes accessing parts like joysticks and battery difficult.
Nintendo's use of non-drift-free joysticks in the Joy-Con 2 and the Switch 2 Pro Controller, as seen in the teardown, adds to the repair challenge.
