General Motors has included two manual-equipped sedans in a fleet of 10 vehicles recently delivered to the US Secret Service training facility in Maryland.
The decision was made to facilitate training on how to drive manual vehicles for overseas trips, as manual transmissions are still widely used in other parts of the world like Europe.
The two manual-equipped sedans are presumed to be the Blackwing versions of the Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V, offering a total of 668 manually shifted horsepower.
In addition to manual transmission training, the fleet also includes vehicles like Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade, and Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 for various training scenarios at the training facility.
