Hacking group SN_Blackmeta allegedly stole 31 million emails, passwords, and usernames from the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.
The breach was confirmed when the hackers shared the Internet Archive's authentication database, including hashed passwords and other internal data.
The Internet Archive also experienced a DDoS attack on October 8 and October 10, bringing the site down.
The hackers have confirmed additional attacks, and the site is currently experiencing a data breach and DDoS attack, though they haven't officially been linked.
