Netflix has released the first trailer for the documentary 'Titan: The OceanGate Disaster' which sheds light on the ill-conceived plan of OceanGate Expeditions to send people down to the Titanic wreckage.
The documentary explores the catastrophic implosion of OceanGate's Titan submersible and provides insights into the mind of OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, one of the five individuals who died in the incident.
The trailer portrays Rush as someone who overlooked the dangers of the failed expedition, including questionable decisions like assigning an accountant to pilot an underwater vehicle.
Produced by Story Syndicate and directed by Mark Monroe, 'Titan: The OceanGate Disaster' premiered at the Tribeca Festival and will be available on Netflix starting from June 11th.
