- The latest v72 update of Meta Quest has allegedly bricked some of the headsets out there.
- Pimax has announced a new headset called Dream Air which is smaller and lighter compared to other Pimax headsets and is aimed at prosumers interested in clarity and comfort.
- Meta is reportedly working on a model that should include a display to show information and the display will be added to the Ray-Ban Meta line.
- Next week, the CES is starting and some companies have already teased that they are going to announce something that is XR-related.
- The Magic Leap One headset will not work anymore, as soon all the servers related to managing these headsets will be shut down.
- Pico has talked about a new solution of its, called SecureMR, which should serve in offering passthrough analysis functionalities while guaranteeing privacy to the users.
- Fanatical is offering the 'Build your own Quest VR Bundle Winter Edition', where buyers can select games from a collection of titles and get them at a discounted price.
- Warpfrog announced that it is working on a new game that will still rely on physics-based interactions and will be highly moddable.
- Pimax Crystal Light is currently probably the PCVR headset with the best value-for-price on the market.
- The Meta Horizon app, the companion app that is necessary to configure Quest headsets, has been among the most downloaded ones during this Winter holidays.
