Volkswagen is set to launch a new 7-seater premium SUV called the Volkswagen Tayron in India by the Diwali season of 2025.
The Volkswagen Tayron, succeeding VW Tiguan AllSpace, will compete with Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian, and MG Gloster.
The SUV will feature a 2.0L turbo diesel engine with 150PS power, 360Nm torque, a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox, and various engine options globally.
Internally, the Volkswagen Tayron will offer a host of features including a 15-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, massaging front seats, 9 airbags, and more.
