Tier II cities such as Guwahati, Coimbatore, and Lucknow also show significant involvement in online shopping, with an average of around 2 hours and 25 minutes per week spent on e-commerce, equivalent to approximately 16% of their income.
Amazon is the preferred choice among consumers due to its extensive presence and gained trust.
The study identifies attractive prices, convenient return and exchange processes, and irresistible offers as the main triggers for online shopping.
