Ramaswamy is currently planning his 2024 presidential bid.</li><li>Ramaswamy was born in Cincinnati to Indian immigrants from Kerala. He studied at Yale and Harvard institutions and is a successful biotech entrepreneur and drug developer, having created five FDA-approved medications.</li><li>Politico describes Ramaswamy as an ESG sceptic who rails against "wokeism" and socially-responsible investing. He is the founder of pharmaceutical research company Roivant Sciences, which he established in 2014.</li></ul>
