A new monitor, the Asus ROG XG248Q5G-P, has achieved a record-breaking refresh rate of 610Hz.
Primarily designed for eSports, this 24-inch Full HD display monitor can be overclocked to reach the high refresh rate, but its standard operating rate is 240Hz.
The monitor features Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium for variable refresh rates, 90% DCI-P3 color coverage, and Asus' dual backlight tech to reduce motion blur and enhance brightness.
The Asus ROG XG248Q5G-P is expected to ship next month with a price of $1,100, and its 610Hz refresh rate may be challenging to utilize fully due to the high requirements and limited games capable of reaching that level.
