- Hema Kala officially launched the startup in India during 2021 with competitions as a key feature which got a positive response from the artists.
- Delving deep into market research, Hema identified some key gaps, including the need for artists to have a dedicated platform where they can find jobs and opportunities to learn in addition to showcasing their talents.
- Tap Your Talents now has seven talent groups, singing, dancing, acting, music, photography, painting, and creative writing.
- The Tap Your Talents platform aims to provide a unified platform where artists can learn from pros, find jobs, and set up their own online shops all in one place.
- The platform connects arts organizations with Indian artists for paid gigs and networking opportunities.
- As a welcome promotional offer, Tap Your Talents is onboarding the first 100 organizations for free to promote their businesses, hire artists, sell products and launch courses and collaborate without any charge.
