Poseidon Aerospace has emerged from stealth with its uncrewed sea glider called Seagull, inspired by the Soviet Caspian Sea Monster. The low-altitude flight of Seagull reduces drag and increases lift, making it efficient for cargo transportation and logistics. The Seagull will be tested with the US Navy and Coast Guard this summer, and Poseidon also plans to work with the Defense Department.Poseidon is developing a larger model called Heron with a higher payload capacity for cargo and contested logistics missions.
