The student-designed Hyundai concept called the Obsidian offers a glimpse into a futuristic design that integrates retro-inspired elements.
The vehicle features a wedge-shaped face, reminiscent of the brand's pixel lights, and is designed to maximize cabin space with a flat roof ending in a hatchback.
The Obsidian concept was created by transportation student Dominik Anders with Hyundai's support and was showcased at the Car Design Event 2025 in Munich.
The design concept received positive feedback and is hoped to influence Hyundai's future designs, joining other notable concepts like the Grandeur and Pony Coupe.
