Shelter 45 is a wedge-shaped cabin designed by Gonzalo Rufin Arquitectos and Felipe Toro in Matanzas, Chile.The cabin is situated in a mountainous site surrounded by forests and ravines, three hours from Santiago.The design features a modular system with a three-story structure extending across nine segments, occupying the only flat portion of the land.The cabin incorporates a wooden and steel ties framework, balancing vertical and horizontal elements.
