  • The question no one dares ask: what if Britain has to defend itself from the US?
  • Jude McGowan got me thinking (Letters, 26 February) about the chances of me finding another quiet, kind, Guardian-reading, vegetarian, non-smoking, Labour-voting, book-reading, Chelsea-supporting, Bruce Springsteen-loving redhead.
  • I call the US president Trompé – which, in French, means deceived; mistaken; deluded; tricked.
