Tourism officials at Mount Tai in China are offering robotic exoskeletons to help tourists climb the 5,000-foot mountain with 7,000 steps.The robotic legs, created by Kenqing Technology, are rented for around $9.50 and provide assistance to less confident climbers.The device weighs 4 pounds and fits around the waist and thighs, transforming the walk and making the climb easier.The technology can also be useful for older people with walking difficulties or in jobs that involve a lot of lower-body movement.
