Toyota has pledged $1.4 billion to its Princeton, Indiana plant to build a new electric vehicle (EV) and battery packs.The investment will include the assembly of an EV on the line currently building the Sienna and Highlander by 2026.A battery pack assembly line will be added, with cells supplied by a joint venture between Toyota and Panasonic.The investment also includes the addition of 340 new employees at the Indiana plant.
