<ul><li>Toyota has pledged $1.4 billion to its Princeton, Indiana plant to build a new electric vehicle (EV) and battery packs.</li><li>The investment will include the assembly of an EV on the line currently building the Sienna and Highlander by 2026.</li><li>A battery pack assembly line will be added, with cells supplied by a joint venture between Toyota and Panasonic.</li><li>The investment also includes the addition of 340 new employees at the Indiana plant.</li></ul>
