Twitter has introduced the 'Encrypted DMs' feature to its Twitter Blue subscribers and verified organizations, allowing for secure direct messaging.
Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter rival company Tesla, expressed caution about the feature, advising users to try it out but not fully trust it yet.
To utilize the 'Encrypted DMs' feature, both the sender and recipient of messages must have access to the feature, and the recipient should either be following the sender or have had prior communication with them on the platform.
