Turns Out, Robotaxis Are A Bit Crap
- Robotaxis, touted as the future of transportation, have been found to be lacking in a recent study.
- A pilot study compared Waymo self-driving robotaxis to ride-sharing services and found that the robotaxis took 120% longer for trips.
- Additionally, the robotaxi trips were 30% more expensive on average.
- Reports suggest that the quality of Waymo's rides is also not very good.
