<ul><li>Twitter has reportedly laid off more employees in a fresh round of layoffs, with the sales team being affected this time, as per a report by The Information.</li><li>The number of employees fired in the latest round of layoffs is unclear, however, Twitter had previously removed 800 sales and marketing employees last month.</li><li>Last year, the company had fired over 90% of its India-based staff, and recently shut down two of its three India offices, while asking employees to work from home.</li><li>These moves are part of CEO Elon Musk's efforts to get Twitter financially stable by the end of 2023, despite India being a key growth market for US tech giants. However, Twitter continues to be an important public forum in India.</li></ul>
