Twitter has reportedly laid off more employees in a fresh round of layoffs, with the sales team being affected this time, as per a report by The Information.
The number of employees fired in the latest round of layoffs is unclear, however, Twitter had previously removed 800 sales and marketing employees last month.
Last year, the company had fired over 90% of its India-based staff, and recently shut down two of its three India offices, while asking employees to work from home.
These moves are part of CEO Elon Musk's efforts to get Twitter financially stable by the end of 2023, despite India being a key growth market for US tech giants. However, Twitter continues to be an important public forum in India.
