Ubisoft has created a new subsidiary to focus on Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, and Far Cry franchises.Chinese conglomerate Tencent has invested €1.16bn to acquire a roughly 25% minority stake in the subsidiary.The new subsidiary will manage existing games and oversee the development of new games in these franchises.Ubisoft aims to strengthen its balance sheet, create unique ecosystems, and enable long-term growth and success for the franchises.
