London-based Oriole Networks has secured €20.2M in funding to support the scaling of its AI optimization technology.
The funding round was led by Plural, with participation from existing investors, including UCL Technology Fund, XTX Ventures, Clean Growth Fund, and Dorilton Ventures.
Oriole Networks has developed a method of using light to connect AI chips, enabling faster training of Large Language Models with lower latency and energy consumption.
The company aims to enhance energy efficiency in data centers and alleviate the strain on energy grids by increasing data transfer speeds while reducing power use.
