University of San Francisco School of Law becomes first law program to fully integrate AI, as Anthropic goes big on education

  • Anthropic, the tech company behind Claude, is expanding into education with new university and classroom partnerships for their educational chatbot, Claude for Education.
  • Claude will integrate with teaching and learning software Canvas, textbook and courseware company Wiley, and video learning tool Panopto, allowing students to access educational materials within conversations.
  • The University of San Francisco School of Law will be the first law program to fully integrate AI through Claude AI-enabled learning, enabling students to apply LLMs in litigation within their coursework.
  • Anthropic is also investing in AI education through initiatives like the National Academy for AI Instruction, in collaboration with partners like the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), to provide free educator-focused AI training.
