The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has updated guidelines for issuance of Industrial Entrepreneur Memorandum acknowledgment.
The revised criteria for the acknowledgment will now be investment in plant and machinery/equipment exceeding Rs 125 crore, or/and annual turnover exceeding Rs 500 crore.
The increased threshold limits aim to support large-scale companies operating under the Industries (Development & Regulation) Act, 1951.
