Altimetrik, a US-based digital business modernization service provider, announced plans to triple its IT engineering team in India and aim for USD 1 billion in revenue over the next three years.
CEO Raj Sudarshan highlighted India's talent pool as a key factor in this expansion. Currently, Altimetrik has over 5,000 engineers in India, making up about 80% of its global workforce of 6,200.
The company, backed by TPG Capital, is set to increase investment to support this growth, focusing on digital business modernization and AI. This move comes despite a general decline in tech hiring in India due to layoffs and lower salaries.
