US spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs experienced significant outflows on Dec. 19, breaking a 15-day streak of investor inflows.
Bitcoin ETFs saw their largest single-day outflows since their launch in January, with investors withdrawing $671.9 million. Fidelity's FBTC led the sell-off with $208 million in outflows.
Ethereum ETFs also witnessed outflows totaling $60.47 million and ended an 18-day streak of inflows. Grayscale's ETHE suffered the biggest loss, losing $58.13 million.
Despite the outflows, WisdomTree's BTCW recorded modest inflows of $2 million.
